Less than 1 hour drive south of Manuel Antonio is where this adventure takes place. The horseback riding tour is over 7.5 miles route takes approximately hour and half, including a breakfast break, until arriving at the awe-inspiring cascades. You may swim in the natural pools the waterfalls have formed. These captivating cascades setting is an ideal place for nature and adventure lovers, where visitors can walk, swim, climb, jump, take photographs and spend a marvelous day in the warm waters of this tropical river, enjoying one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica’s South Pacific. Waterfalls are located in a canyon approximately 26 ft. wide. One of the falls is 148 ft. high in free fall and the other, 66 ft. high with a tiered fall, forming at the bottom a ¼ acre and 20 ft. deep pool. On the way back we stop once again at a typical farmer’s house to enjoy a delicious meal. After a well-earned rest on the hammocks and a delicious cup of coffee, we begin the return trip to our starting point.
