Arenal Volcano has been one of the most active volcanoes in the world, and its classic cone shape and exhilarating greenery of its surroundings will captivate you. After 3 hours drive through the mountains we have the option of visit either La Fortuna Waterfall, an icon of the area as well the Volcano itself, or a set of hanging bridges among the rainforest canopy. You could access the waterfall by a steep set of steps into a lush canyon where the cascade is nested, and those that have brought along swimming suits and a hearty sense of adventure can swim in the chilly water below the fall. Optionally, we will explore the rain forest from a bird-eye perspective walking on a set of suspended bridges through the canopy in front of the majestic Arenal Volcano you can admire its beauty and maximizing the chance to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Last, but not less, you will visit the hot springs of the volcano, where you can relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano.
