Just few minutes from the beach, we will start the adventure aboard a wagon pulled by a tractor to the top of a mountain with spectacular views of the Herradura bay and the Gulf of Nicoya. Then descend to the bottom via a series of zip lines, including 14 platforms and 12 cables with a total cable distance of 2.2 miles including the longest cable in the area (2400 ft.) This trip is designed to enjoy nature without harming the environment, and within the reserve, you may have the opportunity to view scarlet macaws, chestnut mandible toucans and white-face monkeys.
You may get dirty on the ATV portion of the tour; as if the path is wet it can become very muddy when your guide lead you along the jungle trails, following rivers and sometimes-bumpy dirt paths. Time and trail conditions allowing, you can make a quick swim in one of the small rivers and pools.
For the ATV portion of the tour drivers must be 16 years, and riders must be a minimum of six years old to ride. Alternatively a horseback ride to a gorgeous waterfall could be offered instead of the ATV adventure. Duration: 4 hours
