We will pick you up from your hotel and depart to the small village of Cahuita, located 10 miles north of Puerto Viejo, famous for its white sandy beaches, traditional afro-caribbean culture, and its abundant wildlife. There will be a guide waiting for you to start the hike through the National Park. This guided stroll along a flat coastal path lasts about 3 hours and will allow you spot a rich and wide variety of animals and plants typical of the Caribbean wetlands. Furthermore the guide will provide you with information about the rich and vibrant history of Cahuita. The National Park is a combination of pristine beaches, coral reefs, and a tropical rainforest where you can easily observe some of the many species of animals that coexist there, such monkeys, sloths, frogs, butterflies and more. As soon as we get to Cahuita Point we will rest, have a snack of tropical fruit, and then start our hike back to town where the van will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
