Flying in and out from SJO Airport
This itinerary packs a lot into a 10 days-long vacation. This route takes you to 4 acclaimed tourist destinations in Costa Rica: Pacuare River, Manuel Antonio and Corcovado National Parks, plus San Gerardo de Dota. You can explore and enjoy the most diverse tropical nature, take in some beach time, and trill on our white waters too.
Day 1: Arrival and stay overnight in San Jose. Optional City Walk for early arrivals.
Day 2: Day trip for White Water Rafting at Pacuare River including breakfast, a 3.5 hours journey with along 18 miles on this spectacular river passing through rapids class 3 & 4 surrounded by impressive canyon covered of emerald rainforest, and typical lunch once the rafting is over and adventures took a shower and changed for dry clothes, returning to San José in late afternoon.
Day 3: From San Jose to Manuel Antonio National Park (Central Pacific) stopping in the famous Crocodile Bridge on the way and a strategic stop in the cosmopolite Jaco Boulevard for a drink to stretch the legs.
Day 4: Morning trip in the National Park spotting plenty wildlife (monkeys, sloths, iguanas, toucans, etc.), and beach time. You can also take afternoon trips such: Kayak tour along magical coastline, Spice Tours into the forest, Jungle Horseback riding, or sail away on a Catamaran for enjoy the sunset in the ocean.
Day 5: Coastal drive from Manuel Antonio to Sierpe Dock to take a boat trip along Sierpe River through the largest Central America mangrove forest into the Pacific Ocean to the appealing jade-colored Drake Bay.
Day 6: Day trip to visit Monteverde Cloud Forest Adventure Park. A shared shuttle offers transfers for this adrenaline combo: the highest Suspension Bridges over the forest canopy, an amazing Aerial Tram to reach the highest point of this mist forest to start descending in the safest and most thrilling Zip Lining in the country.
Day 7: From Monteverde to enchanting Manuel Antonio at Central Pacific coast, set high above the celebrated National Park, boasting world-class views and beaches. We will stop on the way in the famous Crocodile Bridge and also in the cosmopolite Jaco Boulevard for a drink to stretch the legs.
Day 8: Day trip in the National Park spotting plenty wildlife: monkeys, sloths, iguanas, toucans, and more; plus free beach time afterwards. Just imagine sparkling white sandy beaches, shimmering blue water and the fresh ocean breeze. There are plenty options for relaxation and adventure on the public Manuel Antonio beach.
Day 9: Leisure day at the beach, you can also take half a day trips in the area such: Kayak tour along magical coastline, Spice Tours into the forest, White Water Rafting, Jungle Horseback riding, or sail away in the ocean on a Catamaran for snorkel and dolphin watching in the morning or enjoy the sunset in the afternoon.
Day 10: back to San Jose Airport.
